Extra travel time to Holwert and Lauwersoog due to closure of De Centrale As
Passengers travelling to the ferry terminals of Holwert and Lauwersoog should expect delays from Thursday 2 July until Monday 6 July. De Centrale As (N356) will be fully closed during this period due to maintenance works.
Closure from 2 July until 6 July
The N356 will be closed from Thursday 2 July at 18:00 until Monday 6 July at 06:00. During this final closure weekend, the Province of Fryslân will complete the maintenance works.
Traffic will be diverted and journeys to the ferry terminals of Holwert and Lauwersoog may take longer than usual.
Allow extra travel time
We advise passengers to check their route before departure and allow extra time for their journey.
The entry and exit ramps at Broeksterwâld will also remain closed until Monday 6 July at 06:00.
Public transport
Bus services will operate on adjusted routes during the roadworks.
