Construction of a new access ramp at Schiermonnikoog terminal
Construction work will take place around the terminal at the Schiermonnikoog ferry port during weeks 26 through 28. As part of these works, a new access ramp will be built. The work area will be fenced off, but passengers will be able to walk around it easily. Ferry and fast ferry services will continue to operate according to the regular timetable throughout the project.
In addition, paving work will be carried out on the south side of the terminal during week 27, from Tuesday, 30 June, through Thursday, 2 July. As a result, the raised embankment area on the south side will not be accessible during these three days.
During this period, passenger ticket validation will be carried out manually outside the terminal near the temporary accessible entrance. The waiting area and toilets will remain open and accessible throughout the works.
